What social networks are supported? 

We currently support 4 social media platforms - Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. We are planning to expand our reach to Google My Business and Pinterest, in the near future. 

Is Instagram available in Esemdee? 

Yes, it's available and fully functional. You can create Instagram templates and posts in Esemdee. Also, you can use our Schedule manager, Autofeed and the Quick post modules to schedule and publish your Instagram posts.

Please note, only Instagram Business Profiles are supported. Instagram Personal Profiles are not available through Esemdee.

When will the Listen and Engage tool be available? 

It will be very soon. Our development team is working on it so we can introduce the Listen and Engage in the near future. We will send out an e-mail to our clients as soon as it is available in Esemdee.  

What if I don’t have any social accounts? 

You need at least 1 social media account to use our software. 

Do you have a free plan? 

No, we do not offer a free plan at the moment, but we have very good offers to start with. Please get in touch with our Sales Team.   

Do you support multiple photo posting? 

Yes, in Esemdee you can create posts with single or multiple images just follow Facebook,  LinkedIn, and Twitter's rules on how many images you can attach to a post in one go.  
We also allow our users to upload bulk images in one go into their own media library. You do not have to go through the exhausting task of selecting images over and over again to post on your social profiles. Important to note, you are uploading your photos/videos to Esemdee media library and you can use it anytime from there.  

What is Autofeed? 

The Autofeed in Esemdee can help you to save time, achieve more and faster when done right. In Autofeed, you can define scheduling rules for each of your sites using your categories, so next time you are about to publish content, you don't need to think about when you should schedule it. With the Autofeed checkbox ticked on post creation, Esemdee will take care of when to publish your post. Essentially, this feature will build a queue of posts for you for each category you have used to create your scheduling rule. It removes the burden of setting the date and time each time you create a post, so you can focus on creating your content.

Do you offer Analytics for any plan? 

Yes, we do! Currently, all of our plans include our fully customisable Analytics module. To learn more about the use of the Analytics module please go to our knowledge base where you will find user guide articles for all of our features.

How do you schedule a post? 

Esemdee is an efficient tool for content scheduling. To create a quick post the most efficient way is to click on the Quick Post, the lightning icon on the ribbon menu. Select the organisation and choose the social site(s) on which you want to publish your post. Complete the form (not all sections are required), but keep in mind the message box is a mandatory field. To attach a photo to your post you can add a file(s) from your device or you can search from the media library. Set the time, and you are done. You can publish your post immediately or schedule it for the future. After you have clicked on your preferred publishing method, your post will be uploaded into Esemdee’s Schedule Manager at the selected time and date. You can also add a comment for the other admins about your post. 
If you prefer a more detailed post creation, go the Schedule Manager and chose your preferred view from the monthly, weekly, or list views. And with a right-click on a date, you can start creating your post from scratch or from a template. You have the options to add a headline, subheadline, message (required), and signature too. Also, you can go through all the regular settings that you can find in the quick post feature.  

Can I schedule or post to multiple social media pages at the same time? 

Yes, you can. In the post creation window the "Choose social site" selector is a multi-select drop-down menu and tick all the social media sites where you would like to post.  Please note because of Twitters policy, only one Twitter profile can be selected at a time.

Can I schedule or post to multiple social media platforms at the same time?  

Yes, you can! With Esemdee you are able to post to multiple social platforms at the same time. When you select multiple types of platforms, a new tab activates for each selected platform on the post creation window where you can customise your post for each platform. As each platform has its own rules for post character limits Esemdee will always remind you when reaching those limits.  

If I scheduled a post to multiple pages can I edit them in one go? 

Yes, with Esemdee you are able to edit posts in a group or separately. When you are selecting multiple pages to post on, the checkbox called “Copy post” will appear. If you tick the box, Esemdee will save your post individually by each selected social site into your Schedule Manager. If you leave it unticked Esemdee will group your posts by each social media platform.  eg.: if you selected 3 Facebook pages, 1 LinkedIn page, 1 LinkedIn profile and 1 Twitter profile at the same time, they would be saved in the system as 3 different posts grouped by the platforms. So you can edit them in a group in the Schedule Manager later.  

How can I create a repeatable post? 

When you are creating a post either with the Quick Post option or from the Schedule Manager you will find a “Post repeat” feature. It's a very handy tool when you would like to repeat your post in a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Just open the “Post repeat” dropdown with the little arrow icon and choose how often you would like to repeat your post and add an expiry date, it is as simple as that. 🙂  

What is an RSS Feed?

An RSS feed gives you a way to keep up with your favourite blogs, news sites, and other websites. You can choose the site you wish to follow and then get updates all in one location. This way you don’t have to search through each blog or website individually when you want to see new updates that have been published.

How to schedule posts from any RSS feed? * 

If you have already added RSS feed to your organisations then you need to go to RSS Feeds under the Resources menu.  You can choose your connected RSS feeds (all of your connected feeds will be available from the dropdown),  you can also filter them by organisations.
It is a multi-select option so you can turn on as many as you want. After you've found the article you want to publish, click on the “add to post” button, and in the post editor window you can complete your post as normal. 
If you haven’t added any RSS feeds yet, go to the Settings/Organisation. Select and edit your organisation. On the bottom right section of the main tab of your organisation, you will find the RSS Feed section.  
If you're having trouble getting an RSS feed added to your organisation, the first thing to check would be whether or not the URL you're trying to add is definitely an RSS feed. Feel free to hop over to the W3C Feed Validation Service here where you're able to copy and paste the URL you're hoping to add to Esemdee where you can check if it is relevant. 

What is Autofeed queue? 

In the Autofeed queue, you can see the posts that are waiting to be published. You can use the filter and search by category. If you want to change the publishing order of your posts, on the Queue view, Esemdee allows you to use drag and drop (only for the same category) to re-order your posts. 

Can I publish video posts? 

Yes, absolutely! Videos and 360 videos as well. Publishing a video is available to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.   

Can Esemdee publish video posts to Linkedin? 

Yes, absolutely! Unlike many other social media management platforms,  Esemdee has the capability to publish videos to LinkedIn.
Yes, we support link shortening services Bit.ly. In your Profile Settings just go to the last tab called Partner Profile, and click on the green Change Bitly Token button to set your own Bitly token. To get the Bitly access token please follow Bitly's step by step instructions that you can find here.   

Can I give admin access to my team member for managing my account?

Yes, Esemdee allows you to give admin rights to your team members, so they can manage your account on your behalf. You can easily add a new Team member to your account in Settings/Access management. For more information on how to add users to your account please check out our: Adding a User article. Please note, the number of users than you can add depends on your subscription plan. 

Can I use Esemdee on my mobile device?

Esemdee is a fully responsive web application which can be operated from a mobile device, although some of the features are not currently supported on the mobile environment.  

Can I publish my post according to a specific timezone? 

Yes, you can set up a specific timezone for each of your connected social media page(s) at the Social Networks tab under Settings/Organisations menu. If you haven't set-up specific timezone, Esemdee will use your Default timezone which is GMT 0 UK-London on registration. You can change this Default Timezone in your Profile Settings which will be the base how your post will appear in the software.
Yes, you’re able to create an organic carousel post with Esemdee. You have to create your carousel first in your Media Library. When this done you’re able to use them anytime from the Schedule Manager
Please note, carousel posts are only supported by Facebook and LinkedIn, and are not available on Twitter.

Account: 

I didn't receive my activation email, what should I do?

Before you get in touch with us please check your spam folder in your email account as sometimes our activation e-mail ends up there.
If it is not there, please send an email to support@esemdee.com with your details and we will resend your activation e-mail.
Please do not reset your password before fully activating your account, as creating a new password is part of the account activation process.   

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your account anytime. Please get in touch with our Support Team by sending an email with your request to support@esemdee.com  

Am I entitled to a refund, if I am not satisfied with the product? 

We do not offer refunds, please contact our support team if you require information or are not satisfied with the product.

Can I change my password after I signed up and activated my social media accounts? 

Yes, you can easily change or set the password for yourself anytime when you want. Just go to Your Profile Settings (top right corner on the ribbon menu). In your profile setting select the password tab. Type in your old password and your new one twice. It is as simple as that.  

Can I delete and add the same social account again? 

Yes, you can add and delete the same social media account anytime. Also, you can add the same social accounts to different organisation in your organisational hierarchy.  Please note that you can only delete an existing connected social media account from Esemdee if there are no scheduled posts in the system attached to that particular page. Please check your account to establish how many social profiles are available, you will not be able to add a new account if you have reached your limit.

How do I create my team member's account? 

Very simple just go to the Settings menu, choose Access Management,  Users,   click on the “New User” button, and fill out every field. You will be required to set the main Organisation for each new user and assign a Role to them. Submitting the User Creation form will send an email to the new user, asking them to activate their new user account. 

My new team member didn't receive the activation email, what should I do?

Please ask them to check their spam or junk folder in their email account as sometimes our activation emails end up there.
If the user status is 'inactive',  You can resend the activation email. Go to Settings/Access Management and select the User tab. In the list, find your inactive User, check the email address is correct, and click on the green "Re-send activation email" button.  A new email will be sent -  please check junk mail.

How do I change my timezone settings? 

The system default is GMT0, UK-London time zone. You can change this any time under your Profile Settings. 

Can I upgrade my account any time? 

Absolutely, you can upgrade your account anytime when you want. Just let our Support Team by sending an email about your request to support@esemdee.com.  

I forgot my password. What should I do? 

You can reset your password on the Login screen just choose the Forgot password option and enter your Username in the appropriate field and submit it. The system will send you a password restore link to your registered email address.

Whom do I contact with any issues/suggestions? 

We are always here to help, so you can write to us at any time to support@esemdee.com. Alternatively, if you have already logged in Esemdee, just click on the Life ring icon at the bottom right corner of the screen and select the Tickets tab. Complete the form with your feedback and submit it. This will generate a ticket in our Helpdesk system. One of the team will be in touch to solve your query as fast as possible. In the mean-time, you also can check our Knowledge Base for an answer.  

I had a 'failed to post' email notification because of an expired social account token.

If you have received a failed to post email from our system, regarding an expired token, you will need to reconnect your account.  This can be done via Settings / Organisations / Social Networks -  click on the refresh button to reconnect your social page to Esemdee.

What will happen to the content scheduled or published by my team member, if I delete his/her account? 

The content scheduled or published by your team member will remain in your account after you have deleted the User account of one of your team members. Deleting your team member’s account will not have any effect on your scheduled or published content. 

Can I set approval for my team member's posts so it will not be published without my approval? 

Yes, absolutely. You can give different roles to your team members in each of your organisations. Choosing an Editor role or Creator role for your team member will make sure they won’t be able to publish anything without approval. Only the Users with Admin type roles (Super Admin, Admin, Approver) can publish content without approval.  

Can I get an email notification once my scheduled posts are published?  

We make sure you stay updated with the activities of your social media profile by notifying you through email (only if you ask for it). Esemdee sends you notifications regarding the following activities:  Template status change, Post status change, Template Comment notification, Post Comment notification, Post Comment notification, Post fail notification.
We don’t send emails when your posts are published. Esemdee only sends emails if there is an error or something needs your attention, like post approvals, comments or publishing failures.

We highly recommend you to turn on your notifications in Esemdee, so you won't miss any action that needs your attention. You can set-up each type of notification you want to receive and how often you want to receive them. Esemdee can send you collated notifications on a daily, weekly, or monthly base too. Check out your notification settings in your Profile Settings. Select the Settings tab and click on the Edit button on the right side.
